Plant strengtheners for resistance induction

Kendal^® optimizes the plants natural physiological defence mechanisms through targeted organic components. It increasing the plants resistance against different fungal and bacterial harmful organisms. The product is a natural plant-strengtheners to be used for all kind of plants. The activation of the endogenous plant self-defence system leads to a better protection and reduction of microbial symptoms of infections.

Kendal^® plays and important role in keeping healthier plants and preventation of diseases losses enhancing yield targets; improves overall colour and quality of crop foliage; increases crispness and yield of leafy vegetables.

The product is composed of the following classes of substances:

OLIGOSACCHARIDES:
These are specific oligosaccharides which result from the fragmentation of cell walls caused by fungal and bacterial attacks. Their presence triggers the synthesis of phytoalexins, plant natural antibiotics.

GLUTATHIONE:
It is an essential constituent of plant defence systems. In fact, it is involved in the neutralization and isolation of cell toxins produced by pathogens during the infection processes.
In plant cells glutathione reacts with the toxin by forming a covalent bond; subsequently, the new molecule is transported inside the vacuole thus defusing the infection processes.

VEGETABLE EXTRACTS:
Substances with biostimulant action, they give plants a high capacity to trigger natural biological defence mechanisms.

POTASSIUM SALTS:
They limit the likelihood of pathogens' take over and diffusion by increasing physical barriers to infection through cell wall thickening.

Application rate

sport turf:

6,0 - 10 l/ha

vegetable:

1,5 - 2,0 l/ha

leaf vegetable:

1,0 - 1,5 l/ ha

fruit, grapes:

2,5 - 3,0 l/ha

ornamentals:

1,0 - 1,5 l/ha

Time of application

KENDAL can be used very flexible, adapted at the individual situation and crops. Best results is to start before or at an early stadium of pathogen infection. Repeat treatments all 5-10 days.

KENDAL can be mixed with the most common pesticides and foliar fertilizers. The combination with cupric preparations is possible on olive trees, vines, tomatoes, potatoes and artichokes. Before application of KENDAL mixes with cupric formulas to other crops, selectivity tests has to be performed. Since the product has an acid reaction, it is not advisable to associate it with preparations having highly alkaline reactions.
